SMARTWATCH
The young generation today has grown up with cellphones in their pockets and purses. An unsung casualty of this new reality has been the staple wristwatch. Statistics show less than a third of today's youths wear a watch at all, relying on their smartphones to tell them the time.

Instead of being redundant jewelry, we intend to make the wristwatch a valuable ally to the smart phone. We propose making a SmartWatch with an energy efficient e-paper face that acts as a standard analog watch most of the time. But, when you get a call, text, alert, poke, or whatever technology brings, your phone relays the basics of the communication to your wrist via bluetooth.
